According to Schalliol, “We discussed this with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and they thought it was a great idea. We are confident that our patrons will share in our appreciation for the sacrifices our military makes for us every day by supporting this gesture”

The St. Joseph County Airport Authority presented the third annual “Stakeholder of the Year” Award to Clear Channel Interspace Airports. This award was presented to Matthew McCauley, the Project Manager, at the monthly St. Joseph County Airport Authority Board of Directors meeting.
The Stakeholder of the Year award is presented to the organization which best reflects the Authority’s goals of maximizing the safety, service, and effectiveness of the South Bend Regional Airport for the traveling public and the community at large. This year’s award is presented in recognition of the contribution of Clear Channel Interspace Airports (CCIA) to the mission of the authority. During 2007, CCIA completely redeveloped the airport advertising program, investing over $90,000 in state-of-the-art new technology and community themed imagery.
The new CCIA Community Showcase Advertising Program is the culmination of months of planning and design work and includes unique features such as: themed community photo wall murals, state-of-the-art Interspace RevMax scrolling technology, and a streamlined Passenger Convenience Station that allows direct-dial phone access to local accommodations. The new advertising program has transformed the South Bend Regional Airport into a Community Showcase of local businesses and attractions. This distinctive program, created by Clear Channel Interspace, offers local businesses new display technology that will enhance their ability to reach the over 2,000,000 business professionals and leisure travelers who utilize the airport annually.
According to John Schalliol the Airport’s Executive Director, “We have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Interspace and in fact, we are one of the first airports in the country to contract with them for our terminal advertising. They specialize in communities such as ours and they have been great partners for our airport. We are truly excited about this new opportunity to showcase our community and the many companies which are vital to its future growth.”

The local airlines are responsible for updating the flight information monitors in the terminal. This same information is fed to our website.
Because of the heavy workload experienced during some ground handling operations, it is possible that flight information on our monitors may not be updated as frequently as we would like. We are working on ways to improve this situation.
Please contact your airline for the most up to date status of your flight.
