Regarding the Proposed Relocation of U.S. 31/Lincolnway West Interchange and South Shore Rail Line.
The St. Joseph County Airport Authority held a public workshop/hearing on Sept 27, 2006 at Dickinson School in South Bend. The Public Hearing was held to provide information and accept comments on an environmental assessment (EA) that is being conducted to analyze potential impacts of the proposed relocation of the interchange of U.S. 31 and Lincolnway West, and a portion of the South Shore Rail Line that departs from the airport terminal, connecting South Bend to Chicago.
This was the third of a series of workshops regarding the project.
